# Check app status and metrics

> Check the CPU, memory, disk and uptime of one or every Square Cloud application with squarecloud app status, and print the last 24 hours with app metrics.

`[appID]` is optional: see [how the CLI finds your app](/en/cli-reference/quickstart#how-the-cli-finds-your-app). For databases, use [`squarecloud db status`](/en/cli-reference/databases#squarecloud-db-status).

## `squarecloud app status`

squarecloud app status [appID] [--all] [--raw] [--json]
```

| Flag | Description |
| - | - |
| `--all` | Shows every application instead of one: app ID, whether it is running, CPU and memory. |
| `--raw` | Prints the raw numeric stats as JSON instead of the table. |

Prints the app ID, CPU usage, memory, disk, status and uptime of one application.

squarecloud app status --all
# One row per application.

```bash theme={"system"}
squarecloud app status <appID> --json
# The formatted values (such as "0.5%" and "120MB") as JSON.
```

```bash theme={"system"}
squarecloud app status <appID> --raw
# The same stats as plain numbers, as JSON.
```

## `squarecloud app metrics`

```bash Usage theme={"system"}
squarecloud app metrics [appID] [--json]
```

Prints the last 24 hours of the application's CPU usage, RAM usage and network traffic, one row per 5-minute data point. Metrics are collected only for applications with 512 MB of memory or more.

squarecloud app metrics --json
# Prints the raw data points as JSON.
```
